It’s really easy to add friends on PS4 from your Playstation Network. You can do it by going to your friends list and selecting the “Add a Friend” option. You can also add friends by sending them a friend request through the Playstation Network website. In this article, we’ll show you how to add friends on PS4 from your Playstation Network account.
Go to the Playstation Network website and sign in
If you want to add a friend on your PS4 from your Playstation Network, you will need to go to the Playstation Network website and sign in. Once you are logged in, go to the “Friends” tab and search for the person you want to add. Click on the “Add Friend” button next to their name and they will be added to your list of friends.

Enter your friend’s Playstation Network account name and click “Send.” Your friend will receive a notification that you’ve sent them a friend request. Once they accept, you’ll appear on each other’s Friends lists.

You will be taken to a new page where you can enter in your friend’s PlayStation Network ID, their email address, or their real name if you have it registered with Sony. If your friend has their Profile set to Public, you will also be able to search for them by their PlayStation Network Online ID.

You can add someone to your Friends list by their PSN ID or by their real name if they’ve set it up in their Account Management settings. If you know their email address, you can also add them that way.
If you receive a friend request, you can either Accept or Reject it. If you have mutual friends, you’ll see how many you have in common.
If you want to add friends on PS4, you have a few different options. You can either find them directly through your Friends List or by sending them a request through the Playstation Network. If you want to add friends on PS4 from your Friends List, follow these steps.
On your PS4, go to the Friends List by pressing the “PS” button on your controller
On your PS4, go to the Friends List by pressing the “PS” button on your controller. Then, use the left thumbstick to scroll down to “Find People” and press the “X” button. By default, your friends list is set to display friends who are online only. You can change this setting by pressing “Triangle,” selecting “Settings,” and then scroll down to “Show Online Friends Only.”

To add friends on PS4 from your Friends List, simply find your friend’s name in the list and press the “X” button on your controller. You will then be prompted to send a request to that user.
Select “Add to Friends List”
1. From your PS4™ XMB™ home screen, go to the Friends icon.
2. Locate the profile of the player you want to add and press the X button on your controller > Add to Friends List.
3. A request will be sent to that player. If they accept, they will appear on your Friends List.
How to add friends on PS4 from your Activity Feed
If you want to add friends on PS4 from your Activity Feed, you first need to go to your profile. To do this, you need to go to the Playstation Button on the controller and then select “Log In.” After you have logged in, you will be able to see your profile. Select “Add Friends” and then “Activity Feed.”

On your PS4, go to the Activity Feed by pressing the “PS” button on your controller. Find and select “Add Friend”. You can either search for your friend’s PSN ID, Online ID (their email address), or their Real Name if they’ve set it up in their account. If your friend appears in the search results, select them and then select “Send Friend Request”.

If you want to add a friend on your PS4 from your Activity Feed, start by opening the feed and scrolling down to find the name of the person you want to add. Once you’ve found them, press the “X” button on your controller to open their profile. From there, select “Add Friend” and confirm that you want to add them to your list.

From your Activity Feed, select the “Add Friend” icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
Enter your friend’s PSN ID or their real name in the search bar. If you don’t know their PSN ID, you can also search for them by selecting “Players You May Know” from the Add Friend menu.
Once you’ve found your friend, select their name to open their profile page. On this page, select the “Add Friend” icon located in the top right corner of the screen.
Your friend will now be added to your Friends List and will appear in your Activity Feed!
